HAZET was established in 1868 by Hermann
Zerver. The brand name “HAZET” has its roots in the
initials of its founder, where the “H” (HA in German)
stands for Hermann and the “Z” (ZET in German) for
Zerver. HAZET is now a fifth generation family
business. HAZET has 4 plants in Germany. Plant 1 in
Remscheid, Plant 2 in Heinsberg, and Plant 3 in
Remsheid where the Assistent tool trolleys are made.
And Plant 4 in Remscheid-Veringhausen for Torque
Wrenches. Hazet tools are sold in over 100 countries
world wide. Development and design is done by highly
qualified engineers using the latest in CAD computers
and software. Tool and die making for the production
department is done in house. These dies are used by
skilled craftsman on short stroke forging hammers to
