 This chart is a reference for almost every Mercedes model sold in the USA up to year 2001. Some rare old models are not included. It makes a good buying guide if you are thinking about buying a used Mercedes. It is current up to Model year 2001. It lists the models with the engine and transmission numbers for the car. So you can find out that a chassis W116 would include the 450SE with body 116.032, and engine 117.983 or 117.986, and transmission 722.0 ,etc. If your car is not on this chart, you may have a grey market car. Before buying an old Mercedes, you need to check this chart! Mercedes models are hard to identify, and trunk numbers can get swapped around. Check the VIN and use this chart before you buy. It is around 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" and folds out, with 10 pages.

MB-Studebaker Collector Item.  National Geographic Magazine Page. The page features an advertisement for the Mercedes-Benz 300SL roadster. We were told it is from a 1957 copy of National Geographic, but we can't guarantee that date. It shows the complete car and the Mercedes-Benz logo with a graphic of the steering wheel and the folding top going down. The ad is all black and white. Mounted in a wooden frame painted black with gold color trim. The ad also features the old Studebaker-Packard corporation as the exclusive dealer of Mercedes-Benz in the US.

Owners Manual		 Owner's Manual for the old Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing built in the 50's. This is the Instruction Manual Edition "B".  It is a reproduction reprinted in the USA in 1974. With lots of good information like cylinder head torque sequence, valve clearance
adjustment, wiring diagram, etc. With 58 numbered pages. It is very small at about 6 x 8 inches, so the type is very small, and some illustrations are not the best. But this is the official reprint by Mercedes-Benz with MB logo on the cover. A very good book to have if your manual is missing. English Language.
